The project involved the refurbishment and alteration of the Monastery Building to provide state of the art studios for NUCA’s digital art and design and animation students.
The works included the installation of two upper floors, steel staircases and major structural alterations, all finished with a striking colour scheme.
The fabric of the building also received attention with underpinning, brickwork repairs and re-roofing. A copper clad entrance porch was formed to enhance accessibility.
